Show and tell

You know, I want to show you something. Although I’m not sure how to do this yet on this platform, as I don’t have any social media accounts any longer. Well, besides LinkedIn although that doesn’t count, right?

In the past year, as I may or may have divulged this tiny huge secret, God has taken me on a journey. The journey is far from over, but boy oh BOY! I have seen so many things differently. I have grown as a person and am now able to say things that were not in my vocabulary a year or so ago. Words like “Boundaries”! Oeeh la la! Or “I LOVE Jesus!!”. No, not to worry as I am not living in a part of the world where I am not allowed to say that (thank God), but my internal system was preventing me to say and do so much! Which is a shame.

It is a shame when someone doesn’t feel well enough in their own skin to be able to express themselves or express their thoughts and ideas and not worry about their surroundings. It’s a shame when we determine that outside opinions or influences are so much more valuable than what we think or what we want. It’s a shame we don’t recognize, that even though the collective (community, family, friends, group of people) does have value, it may never, NEVER EVER, take away from the individual. And as long as we don’t recognize this fact for ourselves (talking to those out there who have low self esteem for example) … life won’t get better, easier, tolerable or…just plain enjoyable.

Wow – that above passage came straight from my heart cus I pounded my keyboard while writing it LOL. Anyway. What did I wanna show you? I want to show you the beauty which I am privileged to call my home. The beauty of my surroundings. The beauty of what God made. He made these things just for us. For me to be able to marvel at that sunset. He did that with me in mind. How great is our God, that He thought to do these things for us, even before time! Did you know that He loves you? Yes really. He does. If we care enough to look around: REALLY look, we can see Who He is and how much He truly loves us.

So. Are you ready to take this short journey with me? It’s short because I hope it prompts you to go and find your own set of beautiful things. Your own set of wonderful. Your own, personal, intimate and up for grasp journey that God ordained. Just for you.

Ready? Set? RUMBLE!
