Curacao and trainers. Trainers in Microsoft Excel. Power Bi. Power Query. VBA and subsequently Macros. Automating stuff. Analyzing said stuff. And more.
So you may or may now know that I’ve been in the business of training for some time now. It all started organically. First with tutoring my class mates in highschool, then tutoring children in younger grades. Then, after graduating and landing my first job at ADT Elst in the Netherlands, I noticed that people just were not as familiar with Excel as one would think. So, enter the afternoon classes or for those who were driven, the Saturday edition classes.
This went on when moving back to Curacao as well. Providing help and training persons is part of what makes me, me. But of course, life happens, right? I started a business although many people told me that there was no life in that. Excel only? HOW would you make a living? Not possible! So I hatched a plan. I would give classes in a company, look around and then enter the company with ways to make them more efficient. And so my business got a bit more traction.
Then, life happened AGAIN. A few kids came along, mental health became a thing and business was still there (one has to eat, right?) but the zest was gone. The zeal was foetsi!! What does one do in such situations? One goes and looks outside of oneself to find THE thing that will bring back the drive, the zest, the GUSTOOOOO. Unfortunately, that did not work.
I went from being the popcorn lady, to process description, became a business analyst again, tried my hand at being a business intelligence officer and finally, after about 9 years of searching, I was back at square one. I need projects, and I need’m fast. So, I went back to the drawing board. What are my skills, what drives me and what does the public need? Not necessarily in that order, mind you.

As training is the easiest thing to do (and one doesn’t boast of oneself, but training I do well) I thought hey! Let me see what type of courses are being done in my home town Curaçao. Excel? AI? What is happening? Well a generic search showed me that all courses are now being offered (SEO driven of course) by DUTCH companies. Yup. In THE-NETHERLANDS. No local company off the bat. Why is this? Where are my people? What are you doing? No longer fun to provide courses and therefore you left the scene? What gives???
And so, here I am. I’m ready to provide courses for people in mainly MS Office and more actually as for example I’ll be providing a Microsoft Planner (3) training shortly. The question then becomes – if you or anyone you know, need assistance (expert assistance mind you!) in MS Office, mainly Excel and want a dash of AI sprinkled up in there, I’m the person to call. Not my Dutch counterpart. Moi. Cus I deliver, I Excel (see what I did there?) and there’s nothing more dushi, than the krioyo bit. Let me help you and your company to the next level.
